Ready for a new Piccolo adventure? The namekian character returns to be the center of attention in the manga of Dragon Ball Super, since Toyotaro is working on the “Super Hero” saga. This story is an adaptation of the 2022 movie, in which Goku, Vegeta, and Broly did not arrive on Earth on time to help their allies in the fight against Cell Max.
In the last episode, we saw that Broly was training with the other Saiyans on Beerus’s planet, but he had to interrupt the fight to avoid falling into the berserker state. Meanwhile, Piccolo moved forward with his protocol plans for the fight against the Red Patrol.
He called Bulma to ask for the Dragon Balls and thus obtain a new level of power called Piccolo Orange. In theory, this transformation will give the Namekian power similar to Goku and Vegeta’s Super Saiyan Blue.
Chapter 94 of the Dragon Ball Super manga
If you have already seen the movie “Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero”, you must know everything that happens before Cell’s awakening. Piccolo went back to the school to pick up Pan and is surprised that the little girl is much more powerful than they imagine.
However, Pan does not attack Piccolo because he can detect his ki. The objective is to kidnap her and thus call the z warriors to combat. Magenta, of course, doesn’t count on the cunning of Piccolo, who is setting her up in a plot with Gohan’s daughter.
The epic moment came at the end of chapter 94. Gohan jumped in anger seeing his daughter in danger and prepared for combat. He quickly arrives on the arena of combat and takes a few hits against Gamma 1, Dr. Hedo’s first full android.
The funny thing is that when Gohan gets serious, he loses super saiyan 2 and seems to enter his divine state, which did not appear in the anime.
