Dragon Ball Super: Piccolo gets his new transformation in chapter 93 of the manga

Have you read chapter 93 of the manga of Dragon Ball Super. Akira Toriyama and Toyotaro have a surprise for all fans of the franchise: a Broly special and Piccolo’s transformation. He begins the story with a recap of everything he has lived through in these few years, until he became friends with Goku and Vegeta.

In case you don’t remember, for more than 30 years the planet Vegita was exiled with the aim of not competing against Vegeta in terms of ki size. When they were rescued by chance by Cherai and Lemo, they join Frieza’s army.

The rest of the story is already known, Broly arrives on Earth and faces Gogete. In the middle of the fight he loses his father and releases the berserker version of him. Precisely, in the last chapter of the manga it can be seen that he is training with Goku to avoid losing control.

Piccolo’s New Transformation

Piccolo is the other main character of the episode. At first, he visited Karim to get some hermit seeds, since he knows that a really dangerous fight is coming with Cell Max, the android created by Dr. Hedo.

But he won’t be able to fight this android alone and Gohan is not an option because he is out of shape. For this reason, he seeks Bulma to give him the dragon balls and thus ask Shen Long to give him a new transformation.

This is how Piccolo Naranja was born, the most powerful version of the character that has gone through the manga and anime. In the following chapters we will see it in action against Gamma 2 and Cell.
