Pokemon it has become one of those Japanese franchises that surpassed anime to become total products. You can buy action figures, enjoy video games on mobile phones and Nintendo Switch, and even the anime is still on the air after 26 years.
Ash Ketchum has been the protagonist of the series for all these years, but he has already fulfilled his wish: to become the world champion after defeating Leon.
Now it’s time to welcome new protagonists: Liko and Roy.
What happened in the final chapter?
Just like old times, Ash, Misty, and Brook went back to where it all started. But they have to take different paths: Ash’s two friends must return to their respective gyms, while the protagonist must return home to visit his mother.
The strange thing about the episode is that for us it’s been 26 years but for Ash it seems like it was only a few weeks. His mother continues to take care of the house and the hundreds of Pokémon that her son has caught.
Next, the episode surprises us with a scene that we will all remember: Ash wakes up late and must go visit Professor Oak; however, it is not to start a new adventure, but rather to help you find the lost Charmander.
The episode seemed to be getting stuck in a rut, until Gary asks him to become a Pokémon Master, which would force him to once again leave his town to become the best trainer in the world.
Did you like this episode? He had emotional encounters, the reunion with the mother and one last appearance by Team Rocket.
On April 14, the next chapter of the anime will premiere, but Ash Ketchum will no longer be there. Two young trainers will replace him and new villains will be introduced.
